Ugly Betty star Eric Mabius has been tapped to join Outcasts, and eight-episode, big-budget miniseries for the U.K.’s top producing company.
The sci-fi series, set in 2040, is about a group of people who flee from Earth after a biological catastrophe wipes out most of the human race. Some 50,000 emigrants from Earth find another life supporting planet in a neighboring solar system and get to work building a new civilization. Eric is set to play the vice president of the evacuation program.
