Way back in 2010, a couple years before celeb photo hacks became practically commonplace, some very revealing — if also quite flattering — professional nude photos of Heather Morris leaked.
At the time the Glee star and former Beyoncé backup dancer played it very cool regarding her naked body being available for all to see online.

She told Extra at the time about the photos:
“For me, I think they are beautiful. It’s not something I’m ashamed of. Everybody should do tasteful beautiful nudes so when you get older you’re gonna be like, ‘Oh that’s when my body looked so great!'”
That may have been how she felt about the images themselves, but that wasn’t the whole story. Despite looking killer in the well-lit shots she was also just as embarrassed as you might be if everyone you worked with saw you naked!
In a new Instagram post on Tuesday, Heather shared as much of her body with the world as she was comfortable with — while recalling exactly how it really felt so long ago. She wrote:
“Okay so over 10 years ago, some of nude photos were leaked of me and many other actresses in the industry. To say I was MORTIFIED is an understatement; my body was and still is part of my job and I felt like I couldn’t even walk around my work place thinking that everyone had seen every single piece of me (a couple of snide comments from co-stars game my way which didn’t help).”
She doesn’t mention which co-stars, and certainly we understand why she wouldn’t want to put her fellow cast members of Glee on blast. But “snide comments”? Really? To someone who’s supposed to be your friend??
Heather moves on, saying:
“Shortly after that faded away into the abyss, I had two kids and became a mom. So till this day, I’ve been VERY sacred about how I display myself and definitely still don’t even feel 100% comfortable in anything riskay [sic].”
But the 33-year-old momma stepped out of her comfort zone and posted a bikini selfie!
Why? She’s doing a 30-day fitness challenge, and dammit she needed to show off just how good she’s feeling about herself! She wrote:
“But, to add no pressure to feeling like I need to be a twig or a certain weigh/shape/size (it’s honestly a concept I’ve come to terms with that my body is beautiful regardless)…recently I began the @barrys 30 day challenge and I just want to say that during this quarantine I feel the best I’ve ever felt in over a decade ?? its a f**king challenge and a tough one at that, but I just want to say..let’s not anyone feel ashamed of who we are and just go kick some ass when we want to and feel good about ourselves, okay!!? I’m done… ??”
Well, all we can say is we’re very happy for Heather. This kind of body confidence is hard won, and she should enjoy it.
That and it turns out she really didn’t need photos to remind her of when her body looked so great! Just a mirror!
