It’s kind of a no-brainer that Heidi Klum and Seal aren’t as close as they used to be since they are finalizing their divorce.
However, his public commentary on her romance with longtime bodyguard Martin Kristen is tearing what was left of their relationship apart.
The supermodel appeared on Katie on Wednesday and updated Katie Couric on her status with Seal, sharing:
“I don’t know if we’re the greatest friends right now, especially because of the things that he said. I just saw him on, on Sunday. We were talking and we’re in an okay place.”
Regardless of how her soon-to-be-ex-husband feels about her choice to begin dating again, she’s simply “focusing on moving forward” and explained:
“It’s a work in progress. You have to take it one day at a time. It’s hard especially when you are in the public eye too. People are always looking at you closely and at everything you do. And they also don’t always see exactly how it really is.”
She hasn’t “felt like correcting every rumor that is out there,” but we hope she does soon because we want all the deets on her new man!
