Here's Why Kourtney Kardashian Really Agreed To Have Dinner With Scott Disick & Sofia Richie

We recently told you guys about what looked like a “tense” dinner date between Scott Disick, his girlfriend, and baby momma Kourtney Kardashian at Nobu. Now, new sources have added more details about what the unlikely meeting of minds was actually like.

A source shared with E! News that the sit-down was more about breaking bread than creating drama:

“Scott, Sofia and Kourtney had dinner together at Nobu on Sunday and it was very amicable. Scott and Sofia are very serious and Scott felt it was important that Sofia and Kourtney interact and bond.”

The insider added that now was a good time as any for the couple to finally get some real face time with Kourtney:

“They have kept things separate for over a year now, and Kourtney is now more open and willing to have a surface level relationship with Sofia.”

They say that the dinner was casual and simply a chance for everyone to be in the same room at the same time, which isn’t that hard to believe considering the former couple has been on pretty good terms lately.
But we’re still skeptical…
In the end, it sounds like regardless of how everyone may truly feel about each other, the Disick kids are main priority:

“Scott and Kourtney both agreed it is better to get the elephant out of the room and for them to all be in each other’s lives in order to make things flow easiest for the sake of the kids.”

Hmm…
With two completely different takes on this dinner date, we’ll have to just keep on keepin’ up with these three until anything changes. One thing we do know for certain though, is Kris Jenner loves when the Kardashians play nice — especially with the family’s annual holiday party soon approaching!
