In what’s likely the strangest news you’ll read all day, a 17-year-old high school student from Sarasota, Fla., was arrested on Friday for running a prostitution ring through her Facebook.
Seriously.
The teen was charged with human trafficking after she set up a 15-year-old to sleep with a 21-year-old man named John Michael Mosher for just $40 and a bottle of liquor.
Another student is expected to be arrested on Tuesday for their part in setting up the illegal ring.

The 17-year-old was caught after bragging about her entrepreneurial activities to her business partner on Facebook, saying:
“Why pimp out old hoes when I have fresh young hoes I can give up for money?
As long as I’m getting paid I’m trafficking all these [girls].”
Well then.
We’re glad this whole thing was foiled before it really got out of control, but we hope that the 15-year-old in the case gets the help she needs after the surely troubling experience.
