Hilary Duff posted such a heartwarming message Sunday to her son Luca Comrie on the occasion of his fifth birthday.

The 29-year-old reflected on the past half decade with her little man, writing:

As we reported previously, Hil came together with ex-husband Mike Comrie to plan a Ghostbusters-themed birthday party for Luca.
The actress admitted she hadn’t planned a backyard party in a long time, but was excited to make this milestone birthday the best for her precious boy.
She’s such a good momma! Luca is super lucky!
