Unless you were born 5 seconds ago, you know that the woman on the right above had an affair (or at least sexual relations) with the husband of the woman on the right.
But as Hillary Clinton gears up for an almost certain run for the White House in 2016, what does she have to say about Monica Lewinsky NOW, 15 years after her marriage was nearly destroyed?
She sat down with Diane Sawyer this week for an incredibly candid one-on-one. And even though Hillz had called Monica a “narcissistic looney toon├óΓé¼┬¥ back in the 90s, she├óΓé¼Γäós not interested in throwing any more shade at Miz Lewinsky.
Clinton explained:
“I am not going to comment on what I did and did not say back in the late 90s. I would wish her well. I hope that she is able to think about her future and construct a life that she finds meaning and satisfaction in.├óΓé¼┬¥
Of course, it takes two to tango. Still at Hillary’s side is her husband, former President Bill Clinton. But has time healed old wounds? Or does she still hold a resentment for his former infidelities?
Hillary admits, she’s so over it:
“I am 100% in the camp that says, ├óΓé¼╦£Forgiveness is mostly about the forgiver.├óΓé¼Γäó I know too many people, having now lived as long as I have, who can never get over it. Forgiveness is a way of opening up the doors again and moving forward, whether it├óΓé¼Γäós a personal life or a national life.”
It takes a lot of strength to let bygones by bygones like that! We dig your honesty. HC! But now we think it’s time to tell the truth on another subject matter: are you running for president or not?!?
