A recent study has discovered that Hispanics in the US tend to live longer than non-Hispanics. The life expectancy for Hispanics is 80.6, while non-Hispanics average out at 78.1, and non-Hispanic blacks have an average life span of 72.9.
“The results show that the Hispanic population has higher life expectancy at birth and at almost every subsequent age than non-Hispanic whites and non-Hispanic black populations,” said a researcher. “[It] seems paradoxical because on average the Hispanic population has lower socioeconomic status than the non-Hispanic white population.”
This is pretty amazing! Obviously we all need to go out and eat more Mexican food. LOL!
