In light of Ann Curry‘s inevitable axing from The Today Show, producers have already tried to get Meredith Vieira back in the old post and failed, and despite offering third-hour host Savannah Guthrie the position, we’re now hearing that Hoda Kotb is now getting quite a bit of buzz as the potential replacement!
According to sources:
“Hoda scores off the charts in focus groups, and the audience can relate to her. She also has a good rapport with Lauer.”
Hey! She’s been doing a pretty thankless job for quite some time with a smile on her face, we think she certainly deserves this position!
At least to see how she does!
