Eyes Wide Shut 2.0? Model Shares INSANE Experience From Halloween Party In The Hollywood Hills!

Y’all remember Ashlee, right?

She’s TikTok’s #1 spooky scary story time teller, having cultivated a massive following for sharing eerie tales of real life experiences submitted to her by fans.

Well this week she’s got a wild story set in the mysterious Hollywood Hills, and it is CHILLING!

Before she gets into the details, Ashlee tells her audience:

“This story came from someone who wanted to be called AJ. Before I get into her story, keep in mind this is Spooky Scary Story Time, a series of listener-submitted stories about the scariest or most unbelievable things that real people have ever lived through. All of the stories on this channel are unverified, and I don’t actually know who is hosting this party. She did not give me a name.”

She says AJ is a model who isn’t household-name famous but has done “a lot of campaign work” and runways. With contacts in multiple notable circles, the model eventually got invited to a party in Los Feliz, an affluent neighborhood on the east side of Los Angeles. It’s here she meets a man who then invites her to the wildest night of her life in the Hollywood Hills, and that’s when things got weird… FAST.

“The weekend before Halloween, she’s invited to a party in Los Feliz [a neighborhood in LA]. This was the type of party where she had a lot of friends and acquaintances, and she was having a pretty good time. She started talking to this guy that she thought was cute. Come to find out, he’s also a model, actually further along in his career than she was. He was just more successful in general. It turned out they did have some mutual acquaintances that they had worked with in the past, though none of them were at this party. He had done some bigger European campaigns that she was impressed by. She thought she had seen his face in some magazines without ever knowing his name.”

After getting to know him a bit, the model says he asked her if she wanted to go with him to another party — this time one hosted by an unnamed celebrity in the Hills.

“They leave the party they’re at around 10 and head to this other party. As they pull up, she can see the house in the distance. It’s a long, beautiful mansion with glass windows overlooking the city. They pull up to a security gate, and there’s a guy in a black shirt. He leans in the car and says, ‘Name.’ Her date gives his name. Then the guard looks at her and says, ‘Name,’ and she gives him basically her model name, the one she always goes by. The security guard says, ‘Legal name, first and last, and I need your ID.’ She’s thinking, okay, this makes sense. It’s this celebrity’s house. She probably just wants to know who’s there. So she gives her ID over, as does her date. The security guard looks at them, checks a list, and then leans back in the car, hands the IDs back, and says, ‘Password.’ Her date leans out of the car a little bit and says something that AJ didn’t hear. The security guard waves them through the gate.”

The model is hyped. This is a big celebrity, she’s in the Hills, it seems like the recipe for the best night ever.

Well, as soon as they get inside, “the first thing she notices is an absence of music,” and there’s “a ton of people, but nobody’s in costume.”

WTF?

Ashlee continues:

“Keep in mind AJ and her date are in costume, so they already stand out like a sore thumb. Everybody else was dressed in either all black or all white, and some people were wearing cloaks, but they were all identical. There was also a clothing rack in a far corner of the main room that held maybe 20 or 30 more of the same identical cloaks. Beside the clothing rack was a low table. At first she thought it held appetizers or snacks, but it was actually objects that seemed to have nothing to do with a Halloween party. There were small bowls filled with what seemed to be salt, a row of black envelopes, and maybe 20 or 30 mirrors, all face down on the table. She also remembers a single black candle in a holder, unlit. There may have been other objects on the table, but she can’t remember exactly. The air smelled heavily fragranced, a mix of what smelled like an expensive hotel lobby and heavy, heavy use of incense.”

Soon the model recognizes two other guests.

“One was a photographer she had worked with in the past. When he saw that she saw him, he just gave her a polite nod and then turned away. The other was a woman who had been at some fashion industry dinners. AJ didn’t really know her personally. She just knew she was the type of person who moved quietly in wealthier circles but didn’t really have a need to be photographed.”

Aside from those two, she says everyone else looked “extremely wealthy” but the most famous person by far was still the host.

Eventually the guy she’s with notices the person who told HIM about the party, and it’s a woman.

“The woman looked up and saw them looking at her. She excused herself from the two men and walked over. The first thing she says to AJ’s date is, ‘You brought someone.’ But it wasn’t a question. He started to introduce AJ, but she cut him off and just said, ‘You shouldn’t have done that.’ AJ said she immediately felt embarrassed. She felt her face getting hot, because she was like, okay, I don’t belong here. She had a sneaking suspicion that maybe her date and this woman had previously had a fling or something, because it was very clear this woman did not like AJ being there. The woman continues, ‘This isn’t the type of night that you bring someone who doesn’t already know what’s going on.'”

What in the world??

“AJ says she started to apologize, but the woman fully turned away from her, so her back was to her, and addressed her date. She said, “Are you going to take part in what’s going on tonight, or are you just here to watch?” He seemed very uncomfortable at this point. He hesitated, and then he leaned in and said something to the woman that AJ didn’t catch. She gave him a nod, but because her back was to AJ, AJ couldn’t read her face. Then she told him to find her again before midnight. Then the woman walked away without acknowledging AJ again. AJ was like, this is weird. Around this time, a security guy comes and starts ushering everyone into a larger room off the main area where everyone had been gathered. He goes from guest to guest, basically telling them to move into the larger room. Finally he reaches AJ and her date and says, ‘The door is about to open,’ and gestures toward a long hallway. They start walking, and she’s like, ‘What is going on?’ He’s like, ‘Maybe it’s some type of performance, you know?'”

If you’re easily spooked, this is the part where you should probably take some deep breaths.

It’s only gonna get weirder from here!

“As they walk down the hallway, she sees in the middle of it a line of candles, unbroken, in a straight line. All of the guests in front of them are carefully stepping around the candles, not over them. Meanwhile, a few of the cloaked people in the room were taking additional cloaks off the rack and helping other people into them. Her date says, basically, ‘I think we need to go put one of those on before we go into this room.’ AJ said she had a gut feeling in her stomach that she was not supposed to be there, that she didn’t want to be there anymore, and she told him she wanted to leave.”

Eeeek!

Holy s**t. What?!

And get this, apparently the guy BLOCKED HER the next day! Yeah, he straight up ghosted her. Rude.

“She said that while she still works and still goes to parties when the job requires it, she no longer accepts invitations from strangers. Every year when the hills light up for Halloween and she’s in the area, she gets that same gut-cold feeling, and she can’t help but wonder if someone is giving a password through a gate and agreeing to go somewhere they don’t know what they’re walking into.”

Wiiiild!!

For the record, most of the people who live in the Hollywood Hills are just artists and creatives who like living in a more naturesque part of Los Angeles. But every neighborhood is bound to have its mysteries…

So what do you think it was? An immersive art/ritual performance? Just some people who got REALLY into that movie Eyes Wide Shut and wanted to recreate it? Or something more?? Let us know your theories in the comments!
