This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the John Hughes classic Home Alone, which taught kids everywhere that they could defend their homes from robbers with a little ingenuity!
Of course, the “Wet Bandits” in the film — played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern — were literally the most incompetent robbers in the history of the world!
For example, when Harry sneaks in through the back door to Kevin’s house, he unknowingly arms a blowtorch that fires at the top of his head!
Instead of removing his head from the flames, he screams for about seven seconds — and would likely get burned so bad that his skull would melt into his brain!
That’s pretty dark stuff for a kids movie — but we love this film anyway! Celebrate the Home Alone-iversary by checking out 25 other lessons we learned from the film!
