no title
In a world where women are still fighting for equal rights… men in the entertainment biz continue to treat them like living sex dolls.
Andy Signore, the creator of the beloved YouTube series Honest Trailers, is being accused of sexual misconduct.
Two accusers, one of which claims to be a former intern of Signore’s, have publicly alleged that he used his position of power to prey on women.

Emma Bower detailed the alleged abuse in a Twitter post on Friday, saying she chose to speak up in the wake of The New York Times’ explosive expos├â┬⌐ on Harvey Weinstein‘s “decades of harassment.”
Bower explained she was an intern for Signore when he allegedly made disgusting comments about masturbating to photos of her. He then allegedly asked her to come over so he could jerk off in person, but then tried to play it off as a joke.
She tweeted:

Another woman, April Dawn, claimed to have met Signore at Chicago Comic Con in 2015. A few months later, Signore allegedly flew Dawn, a fan of the Screen Junkies program, out to Los Angeles to appear on its Movie Fights YouTube series.
Dawn claimed on Twitter that Signore tried to sexually assault her on multiple occasions, including trying to force sex toys on her and promising her a job with Screen Junkies in exchange for sexual favors. She wrote:

Dawn said she’s been talking with the company’s HR department for the past two months, but claims they have not been taking her case seriously.

Well, now they are! Defy Media, which owns the channel Signore works for, announced that the comedian has been suspended from the channel while they conduct a full investigation. A rep wrote:

“We at Defy Media have no tolerance for harassment or retaliation of any kind. We have been conducting a thorough investigation into allegations made against Andy Signore and are preparing to respond to those allegations and take appropriate action. Given the additional statements that were made today, we feel it is necessary to suspend Andy’s employment while we continue our investigation. We will take all necessary action once the investigation is fully complete.”

In her statement, Dawn said that Signore threatened to fire her boyfriend Josh Tapia, a Screen Junkies employee who goes by the name JTE, if she spoke out about what had happened.
After the claims broke out, Tapia took to Twitter — as did several other Screen Junkies personalities — to offer messages of support to the accusers. Read the shocked and disgusted reactions from Signore’s colleagues (below).

Now with the support of the Screen Junkies team, more women are speaking out on Signore:
