Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, must’ve been really scared after her family got into a car crash on Thursday night’s second of two episodes of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
While car accidents are bad enough on their own, things get really scary when someone is injured. Especially if it’s someone you care about dearly.
And that’s exactly what happened.
Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon wound up in the hospital with a concussion! The scary part was that she ended up stuck in the hospital for weeks!
Luckily, her entire family rallied around her!
Honey Boo Boo explained the accident, saying:
“He was coming so fast and then we got in a bad, terrible car accident. Pumpkin hit her head real bad and had a concussion. It was weird.”
Sugar Bear, the family patriarch, took control of the house while Mama June spent time with Pumpkin at the hospital.
He said:
“We all miss Pumpkin but we know she is going to be alright and back at home soon. But I do have to say it’s been liberating doing whatever I want at the house.”
Apparently, everyone is just kinda running wild while Mama June was out.
But that didn’t mean Pumpkin wasn’t always in their thoughts.
They even threw a welcome home party for Pumpkin where Alana even decorated a throne for her!
Pumpkin said:
“It took me a minute to take it in and realize that Alana, and Jessica and Sugar Bear had finally done something nice for me. It was awesome.”
Mama June was obviously happy to see her family really sticking together, saying:
“It is really sweet to see the kids rally around Pumpkin after her car accident. Life’s so unpredictable, I mean you never know what could happen. My kids are my world and it really touches my heart to know that when one kid is hurt all the other kids come around to help them.”
That’s so wonderful! They’re the cutest family and they love each other to pieces!!
