Ever since we found out that Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, was exposed to Mama June‘s child molesting boyfriend Mark McDaniel, we’ve been nervous about her welfare!
That might not even be an issue now, because Alana’s Uncle Poodle and his fiance Alan are going to try to obtain temporary custody of her!

The couple says they’ve studied the laws, make enough money to care for Alana and are getting an apartment with an extra room for her!
Eventually, they want Sugar Bear to care for his daughter again, but first he needs to get himself set financially.
BUT, Poodle and Alan have no interest in saving Honey Boo Boo’s 14-year-old sister Lauryn, aka Pumpkin, because they say she hates them.
We’d love to see the girls in a safer environment… but hopefully a court just gets Mark to stay away from children!
