Hoodie Allen likely won’t be embraced with open arms by the hip hop community any time soon.
Why?
Well, there’s the whole white and Jewish thing!
But that’s not the big point. The real issue is that he makes pop music, not rap music. He just so happens to be rapping in his songs!
That formula worked very well for Macklemore. And we see lots of potential in Hoodie Allen as well!
