Hormone Disrupting Chemical Found On Money

Well, it looks like there is no possible way to avoid germs/disease/etc.

Large amounts of BPA, a hormone disrupting chemical has been found on half of store receipts and 95% of dollar bills tested.BPA has been shown to cause various health problems, including cancer.

WTF.

Some organizaitons like Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families are pushing for more control over the chemical. In the meantime, they recommend the following to avoid BPA exposure: Refuse receipts, wash your hands frequently, and don’t use bottles that are not polycarbonate plastic.
