Two Beauties!
Leona Lewis dons her riding boots and hard hat to go horseback riding Friday in Burbank, CA.
The British singer-songwriter wasted no time after landing at LAX today following a five hour flight from Miami, where she has recently been in the recording studio, as she headed straight to the stables to do some dressage riding and training with this magnificent horse, reportedly a birthday present from friends.
Lewis took some time out of riding in January last year after she injured herself with suspected torn ligaments and a split lip when the horse she was riding began to gallop too quickly and she lost her balance and fell off.
She has been riding since a child and her love of horses is well documented, her latest tattoo, a small etching that runs from her neck down to her back is a tribute to the horse. The tattoo reads:
‘Their beauty captures every eye, a gift from God for all mankind, they lend us wings so we may fly, to ride a horse is to ride the sky’.
