Hot Tub Time Machine Is Back For A Second Round! But This Time It's Totally NSFW!

Seriously, if you asked us to pick a recent buddy-comedy that would be getting a follow-up later this year, Hot Tub Time Machine would not have been very high up on our guesses.
The original, which starred Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry, and Clark Duke, followed a group of friends who travel back in time to 1986 and get into mischief.
While the first movie didn’t really offer a lot in the whole time travel department, it was funny and raked in double its budget, so we get why a sequel was commissioned.
However, based on this trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine 2, it looks like they’re really embracing their alternate universe plot points and getting into the rules that traditional Sci-Fi movies employ.
The guys, minus John Cusack, who didn’t quite fit in in the first movie, are being hunted down for changing history and have to go to the future in this second installment to find out who is trying to kill them!
The movie is set to come out this Christmas, and will also star Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, and Adam Scott.
We’re not saying we could write the third movie, but if it doesn’t involve the characters traveling back to right before the start of the first movie and trying to fix their original mistakes, we’re gonna be a little surprised.
