Is Ariana Grande doing okay?
If you haven’t heard, news broke on Monday that the 32-year-old pop star dumped her boyfriend Ethan Slater after nearly three years of dating. It wasn’t a recent split, though. According to TMZ, the pair ended things a few months ago — and no scandal, fight, or other drama reportedly caused the split. Sources say they handled the situation with care and consideration, and they still have a great deal of respect for each other at the end of the day.

The news comes as Ari began her Eternal Sunshine tour over the weekend and will remain out on the road until early September. She also has a new album, Petal, dropping in July. So, the Thank U, Next singer is very busy at the moment! Despite dealing with a breakup and her jam-packed schedule, however, a source tells People that Ariana is “doing great” right now! The insider says the Wicked actress is “incredibly focused on preparing for her tour,” adding:
“She’s seemed very happy. It’s all been very positive vibes. Being able to reconnect with fans after so many years made her very excited.”
We wouldn’t be surprised if she was ready to be single then! Ariana, who has not been on tour since 2019, had been “all about work” this spring to get her show in order. The source continued:
“She’s been wanting to give her fans an amazing show and has put so much work into the show. Kicking off her tour was very emotional for her.”
At least Ari has a lot going on to keep her mind off the heartbreak!
