5 Things Anyone Going Through A Breakup Can Learn From Miranda Lambert

YASSS, Miranda Lambert.
One of the hardest things (other than divorce itself) is watching your ex move on to someone else. The 32-year-old singer handled her breakup and finding out Blake Shelton was in a new relationship with Gwen Stefani shortly after like a BOSS.
Despite any opportunity to throw her ex under the bus, the country songstress kept it classy like the true country version of Beyoncé that she is.

Here are the top five things we learned from watching Miz Lambert move on:
1. Get better, not bitter.
Sure, it hurts — but the breakup happened for a reason! According to sources, Miranda wishes nothing but the best for Blake. She’s definitely taking the high road — but totally kicking ass while doing it! She picked up the award for Female Artist Of The Year and SLAYED her performance during the CMA Awards. Right in her ex’s face, we might add.

2. Get a fresh look.
Right after the split, Miranda took to Instagram to show off her freshly-chopped platinum blonde locks with the caption:

“What doesn’t kill you only makes you blonder.”

Not to mention, she’s since gotten new ear piercings, a faux(?) unicorn tattoo, and rocked pink locks at country’s biggest night. Ch-ch-check it out for yourself (below)!

3. Spend time outside.
As tempting curling up with Netflix and ice cream may sound, go get some fresh air! Miranda has been enjoying her life with her horses in Nashville since the split. It’s the simple things, y’all!

4. Lean on your loved ones.
The Texas native is spending lots of time and keeping busy with her friends and family. This is no time for isolation — go have some fun!

5. Put your energy into what you love.
The Bathroom Sink singer knows exactly where her priorities lie, and she is not afraid to mind her own business and focus on her music. Rather than airing out her grievances publicly, she’s turning her feelings into hit records. We can’t wait to hear what she’s cookin’ up. YGG!

If Adele made us miss the man we never had, we definitely aren’t anymore!
Keep doing you, Miranda!
