HQ Trivia Founder & CEO Colin Kroll Dead Of Apparent Drug Overdose

The CEO and co-founder of HQ Trivia has died of an apparent drug overdose.
Colin Kroll, 35, who co-founded the popular iPhone game back in 2015 after leaving Twitter, was found by police early Sunday morning after his girlfriend was unable to get in touch with him, and she requested they perform a welfare check.
According to TMZ, cops in downtown Manhattan went to his apartment to perform the welfare check, and they apparently found his body in his bedroom “with drug paraphernalia nearby.”
A law enforcement source revealed that at this point, police believe the alleged drugs of consequence to be cocaine and heroin, though an autopsy has yet to be completed.
Kroll had his hands on quite a few tech products, having worked as an upper level manager at Twitter after co-founding Vine, and before creating HQ Trivia. He was also known for his “aggressive management style,” per TMZ.
Always heartbreaking to hear that a 35-year-old with his entire life ahead of him is now dead from a drug overdose. So sad.
