We’re sorry to hear this, Hugh, but we still think U did the right thing!
Back in July, Hugh Grant opened up about exposing the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
Now, we’re hearing that Hugh’s baby mama has been harassed AND has received threats after he spoke to the press!
Here’s what barrister David Sherborne QC, who is representing many phone-hacking victims, had to say about it:
“..Whilst Mr Grant was appearing on Question Time, discussing the closure of the News of the World, Rupert Murdoch and press standards generally, she received a barrage of telephone calls ├óΓé¼┬ª when she finally answered she was threatened in the most menacing terms, terms which should reverberate around this Inquiry: ‘Tell Hugh Grant he must shut the fuck up.'”
Deplorable. We truly hope this is the last we hear about this.
