Having a celebrity for a parent must be the coolest, right?!?
Especially if your dad is freaking Wolverine!!!
Well apparently that’s not the case as Hugh Jackman recently opened up about parenthood and said his kids Oscar and Ava are actually EMBARRASSED by their superhero dad!!
He revealed:
“They├óΓé¼Γäóre not going to give that up to me. They├óΓé¼Γäóre not going to be like, ‘Yeah Dad, you├óΓé¼Γäóre the coolest!'”
WHAT?!?!?! Maybe they’ve just never seen his movies!
Actually, he says they have seen The Wolverine, and they STILL weren’t impressed:
“My son actually saw the movie, and I asked him what he thought, and he begrudgingly goes, ‘Oh, awesome.'”
Wow! Tough crowd!
Normally we’d think having an Oscar-winning dad would be a huge boost to your street cred, but apparently that’s not the case for his son:
“He├óΓé¼Γäós at that age where it can be embarrassing. He├óΓé¼Γäós now like, ‘Can you please stop talking about me? This is killing my reputation.’ He wants me to be his dad. He doesn├óΓé¼Γäót like when we get stopped on the street or when people recognize me.”
We really have no clue how Hugh’s kids can be embarrassed about having Jean Valjean/Wolverine as a dad!
Maybe it has something to do with the scooter. LOLz!
