It must be pretty cool to be the son of Hugh Jackman.
Especially when you’re a 11-year-old pre-teen who is really, really into girls.
Hugh’s son Oscar is finally realizing how useful it is to have his dad around. On a recent trip to Australia, Oscar used his dad’s name to get the attention of some bikini-clad girls.
Hugh says:
“I have heard my son in the past kind of talk to other people about what I do, particularly girls. He├óΓé¼Γäós right into girls, like around 14-year-old girls. He went up to these girls at the beach in Australia and they├óΓé¼Γäóre in their bikinis ├óΓé¼┬ª and he├óΓé¼Γäós just chatting to these girls, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm like, ‘Wow!’ And I├óΓé¼Γäóm sort of sort overhearing, and he├óΓé¼Γäós like, ‘Yeah, my dad plays Wolverine.’
He comes running up and he goes, ‘You├óΓé¼Γäóve gotta sign some autographs ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ now! Now!’
My son will not let me sign autographs for anyone. He├óΓé¼Γäós like, ‘Why do they want your autograph? This is my time with you!’ That day, forget it! I was signing autographs, pictures. I felt very strange. I was kind of pimping for my 11-year-old son.”
Ha! That’s hilarious! What a way to grab girls’ attention!
We have a feeling that the whole “My dad is Wolverine” line is going to come in really handy when Oscar gets older.
