HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS Feared Dead In Haiti!

Haiti’s consul general to the United Nations announced today that an estimated 100,000 or more people have died in the wake of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that “flattened” the nation.

All of Port-au-Prince has either been damaged or destroyed, and when Anderson Cooper went to view the catastrophe from a helicopter, he called the devastated city “incredibly shocking” and “eerie.”

About 3 million people – a third of the country’s population – were affected by the quake, with many people, as Anderson put it, “just kind of standing around on the streets, not really sure what to do or where to go. And for many, there is nowhere to go.”

President Barack Obama has promised the nation “swift, coordinated and aggressive” assistance from the U.S., calling the tragedy “truly heart-wrenching”

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE – do all you can to help the poor, devastated people of Haiti.
