Guess your actions have consequences!!
After disregarding Academy rules and publicly campaigning for his film, The Hurt Locker, through mass e-mails to voters, producer Nicolas Chartier has been banned from the Awards Ceremony on Sunday!
Ouch!!
Apparently Chartier faced an executive committee of the Producer’s Branch during a special session on Monday regarding the e-mail, which blatantly made a negative reference to fellow “Best Picture” nominee Avatar.
That really sucks, especially if The Hurt Locker wins!! He won’t be able to accept his award!!
Guess this is why sometimes it’s really important to not step on James Cameron‘s the Academy’s toes!!
