Yet another magnificent day in magical India!
On day 6 of our travels through this majestic country, we fully explored the quaint lake town of Udaipur.
We are so blessed to be here. We are so blessed! And equally fortunate to have tour guides with us who are so knowledgeable. We don’t just love seeing these beautiful places, but we also love LEARNING about their history and that of its people.
Today, we took in the royal palace of Udaipur, built centuries ago, which is now a museum but still houses the royal family of this region – even though they don’t have any governing powers.
It was real nice to be a king back in the olden days! Multiple wives, multiple concubines, pimp palaces and more!
We also spent a good chunk of the day going to two of the local bazaars and buying LOTS – from clothes to hats to statues and more! We have been in shopping heaven!
And, we wrapped up our beautiful day by going for a sunset cruise around the main lake.
