"I Really Wanna Be Like Amy Winehouse"

We knew there was something extremely odd about this!
A Perezcious reader just wrote in with a very peculiar SIGHting of David Gest at Amy Winehouse‘s favorite bar.
He says:
“Hey Perez,
I went to the Hawley Arms in Camden last thursday and ran into David Gest. It was definitely strange and even stranger that that he was surrounded by about 7 or 8 extremely gorgeous guys – and one really annoying girl. But it all became clearer when they kept running off into the single stall bathroom. Anyway, couldn’t resist asking him for a picture – defo a very, very, friendly guy – but very bizarre. The girl chatted with me for about 10 min – had no idea what she was talking about but all of a sudden she realized that i wasn’t david gest. then she continued her mission to find some more coke.
anyway, after seeing your post and David’s quote, I really had to send you an email because I think I was there that night. I do go there quite a bit and never saw him there before. So, I’ve attached the pic.”
Now we know why David and Liza had so much in common!
