Ian Somerhalder is a seriously caring, seriously delicious hunk of man meat.
He cares a heck of a lot about tons of things, but one thing he truly loves are animals.
After hearing about a girl who threatened to kill her dog, he was obviously upset.
If you haven’t heard, there was a girl who messaged One Direction on Twitter, threatening to kill her dog if they didn’t follow her.
She even posted pictures of her strangling a dog!! Though they turned out to be faked.
In response, he said:

It turns out that the whole ordeal was a big hoax, perpetrated by an anonymous internet troll, who’s twitter account has been suspended.
But it still gave Ian a chance to share a message of goodwill towards all!
He’s so caring that he just got swept up in a hoax, and we love him even more for it!!
Rest easy, Mr. Smolderhotter, the doggy is alive and well!
