More hacked emails from Sony have been released and one exchange between Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal and former executive vice president of production for Columbia Pictures Elizabeth Cantillon revealed some awesome possible news regarding The Wire actor Idris Elba.
And Idris potentially becoming the next James Bond after whenever Daniel Craig decides to step down from the iconic role!

Here’s what Amy’s email said:
“Idris should be the next bond.”
Here’s one instance where Amy Pascal is right on the money! It would make SO much sense to have Idris Elba, who currently is the star of the show Luther, to play the suave double-oh-seven agent!
He’s British, he’s hot, he’s a badass. And since Idris has previously expressed his desire to be a part of this storied franchise – why isn’t this guy ALREADY the next Bond?!
Well, Daniel Craig has in the past admitted he won’t be doing many more Bond movies. He said:
“I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it. But they won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more, but let’s see how this one does, because business is business and if the shit goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their a** with.”
Daniel’s next Bond movie Spectre is coming in November 2015 and he’s only signed up for one more Bond movie after that. It definitely seems like right after that last movie is when a change would be coming.
And hopefully that James Bond change involves a man named Elba, Idris Elba.
We’re always shaking after one of his stirring performances, ha!
