Let it be know that pissing off Iggy Azalea WILL lead to a Twitter tirade!!
Shortly after Iggy and Snoop Dogg‘s social media feud finally came to a close, the Australian rapper had ANOTHER bone to pick — this time, with her record label!
The 24-year-old was honored with the #1 spot on Maxim Australia’s Hot 100 list this year, and accordingly was given the cover of the magazine.
The only problem is the mag actually used an OLD photo of her!! 3 years old, to be exact!
I-G-G-Y was pretty upset about the whole thing, even though she was excited about getting the top spot on the list.
She tweeted the following:
“Im going to publicly say something to the australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately.”
“stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers.”
“australian label, i love you guys but you allowed my image to be sold to cosmo Aus when i told you i would prefer for that not to happen.”
“and now this morning i see you’ve allowed maxim australia to buy an image from a 2011 complex mag shoot and put it on the cover.”
“i think its awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but theres a right way to make that happen and the australian label”
“clearly aren’t respecting my wishes. a magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image.”
“maxim australia, thanks for the love and I’m sorry no one asked me. i would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys”
Miz Azalea has since deleted those tweets, but not before Maxim Australia saw them!

The magazine replied, saying:
“@IGGYAZALEA we couldn’t agree more! We begged both your US management and Aussie label for a cover shoot & interview but were denied.”
“@IGGYAZALEA Furthermore, we’d LOVE to do a shoot with you. Just say when, where and how high and we’ll jump! #loveiggy #maximhot100”
Well, we hope this potential photo shoot and interview with Maxim totally happens!
We bet it’d be even more seXXXy than that old Complex magazine spread!!
