Iggy Azalea Breaks Silence On Nude Photo Leak, Threatens Legal Action: 'I Feel Blindsided'

Iggy Azalea addresses nude photo leak.

Iggy Azalea needs a break from the internet as people continue to say nasty things about the nude photos of her that leaked online over the weekend.
On Monday, the 28-year-old deactivated her social accounts after unreleased topless photos of the rapper from the 2016 cover shoot for GQ Australia were released without her or the photographer’s consent.
Before signing off her Instagram and Twitter accounts, the Kream songstress opened up about the emotions she’s experiencing amid the leak, and people’s “vile” reactions to it.

In a statement shared on Twitter, Iggy said she felt “blindsided, embarrassed, violated, angry, sad, and a million other thing”” over the breach, adding that she plans on pressing criminal charges when they figure out who leaked the pics.
Explaining why she felt comfortable modeling for the topless pics in the first place, Iggy wrote:

“A lot of high profile women have shot covers for GQ with a strategically placed hand, etc., covering their breasts etc. I always felt they were very beautiful covers, so I jumped at the opportunity. I hadn’t seen other women’s covers leak so I felt comfortable (on a closed set) to model for such a reputable magazine knowing only the images with my hands covering would be considered for print. I never consented to taking topless pictures for potential release, period. It was my understanding BEFORE shooting, GQ do not print topless pictures.”

The Aussie rapper went on to say she was a “ball of negative emotions” from the scandal, adding:

“I feel blindsided, embarrassed, violated, angry, sad, and a million other things. Not solely because I did not consent to this – but also because of the vile way people have reacted.”

According to the songstress, a lot of comments about her leaked nudes were from “men in particular taking things even further” and sharing “thoughts and fantasies” about her body that Iggy says made her want to vomit. She admitted:

“The outright wicked things people say is overwhelming & makes me feel like throwing up.”

It’s still unclear how Iggy’s topless pics leaked in the first place, seeing as they were from a private shoot. But the rapper plans on finding that out and taking legal action against whoever was responsible for this.

She added in her note:

“I fully intended on finding out where the leak originated from and pressing criminal charges in regards to this. It’s important to me that someone actually be held accountable for their actions & the way it impacts my life.”

Nino Muñoz, who took the pictures for GQ Australia, also took to social media to address the photo leak. He wrote in a statement shared on his Instagram Story:

“I’m outraged and saddened to find out that images of mine were stolen and published without my permission. I [empathize] with any discomfort that this situation has caused to anyone that is involved.”

Censored versions of the pictures still appear on GQ Australia’s website.
Meanwhile, at least one person has received a topless photo of Iggy from the 2016 shoot: her plastic surgeon, Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, whom the rapper gifted a titillating picture to after confirming that she received a breast augmentation back in 2015. At the time, he posted the topless pic on his social media, making sure to censor it with emojis.
Sending Iggy support as she tracks down her leaker.
