We cannot imagine a more traumatizing tragedy.
A Pennsylvania man is lucky to be alive today after enduring three days trapped inside his SUV following a car crash… but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his girlfriend.
Kevin Bell was driving through southern Indiana on Saturday evening when he veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

While the 39-year-old managed to survive the wreck, his girlfriend Nikki Reed — no relation to the Twilight actress — sitting in the passenger seat was killed instantly.
But as if losing a loved one isn’t terrifying enough, Kevin’s injuries prevented him from exiting the vehicle until Tuesday night — meaning he was trapped next to Nikki’s dead body for three whole days!
Apparently, the pair was driving along U.S. 50 near the Jennings-Ripley County line to get to a party for the 37-year-old mother-of-three’s youngest child’s birthday on Sunday.
No cause for the crash has been determined.

Both families filed missing persons reports for the couple after they failed to show up… but it wasn’t until Tuesday that Kevin was finally rescued after miraculously finding the strength to crawl away from the wreckage and flagging down a passerby.
While he’s expected to make a full physical recovery, we wish Mr. Bell the best of luck moving forward following this tragic accident.
