This stinks!
Fake concert promoters have reportedly stolen $60,000 customers under the premise that they were buying tickets to a Motley Crue show in Indonesia that was never actually scheduled to happen!
Over 1,500 people bought $40 tickets by the time it was proven to be a scam, and local media outlets were even apparently under the impression that it was legit!
By the time it was published in the Jakarta Globe in September 21st, it then was quickly denounced by the group members themselves via Twitter after the false news also spread through the social networking site!
A police investigation is currently underway, but unfortunately, they have no suspects!
Yuck! We hope these guys get caught!
But be careful when buying stuff on-line, people!
