Influencer Sisters Kylan & Izzy Darnell Accused Of FAKING Designer Christmas Gifts -- See Their Response!

This is one hell of a clapback!

Influencer sisters Kylan and Izzy Darnell were so excited to share their Christmas gifts with fans — but they never expected their proud display to take this turn! On TikTok, each sister shared some clips showing off their super luxe gifts from their parents, including some super pricy handbags and fashion accessories — or, so they claimed!

As soon as Izzy’s video went live where she was showing off her supposed Hermès Mini Kelly, fans began questioning the legitimacy of their designer items. In the comments of Izzy’s video, fans wrote:

“girl this is not a mini Kelly”

“Omg i just saw this bag at walmart!”

“which Walmart is it from”

Kylan also did a Christmas haul and fans were just as skeptical of her. In particular, people were questioning the authenticity of her Chanel bag, with commenters saying:

“None of my Chanel purses ever came with a tag.”

“I never seen that in Chanel”

“Where’d you get the Chanel can’t find it online?”

Oof!

Now, it goes without saying there’s no shame in not being able to afford or get designer items! They’re a luxury and not everyone has the ability to jump in on every trend — that’s why there are dupes. But the problem with Izzy and Kylan’s hauls arise with the fact fans believe they’re trying to pass off as having a lifestyle they’re not actually leading. It wouldn’t be the first time influencers have been caught doing this — there are fake private jet photo studios, guys showing off stacks of one dollar bills with a c-note on top…

But these two sisters weren’t going to go down without clapping back! In a follow-up video, Izzy bashed commenters for their “hating” in which she said:

“Somehow you guys are hating so hard you’re trying to make me hate my Christmas gifts from my parents that worked hard to buy me those gifts … It’s not me, it’s you. I’m sorry, but for people on this app to be trying to bully a teenager into hating what their parents bought for them is wild.”

According to multiple outlets, however, a since-deleted video showed her admitting to some of the items being fake:

“Some of my stuff that’s designer is real and some of my stuff is fake. I thought that was, like, an everybody thing. I didn’t mean to offend anybody, but whenever my mom hands me a Christmas present, I was raised to be grateful for whatever I got.”

But alllllll this drama came to a head on Saturday when Izzy was joined by Kylan for a collab video in which they brought the receipts… literally! The sisters announced at the beginning of the clip that some of their previous items were fake — but their parents had a unique solution to all the hate they were receiving:

“Since everyone on here is a D1 hater, you guys made our mom and dad feel so bad over our Christmas presents that they went and bought us all new [ones]. Not only did they not buy the same purse again, they bought MORE, so we could have real and fake.”

HUH?? Throughout the video, the pair showed off their parents’ receipt for the real luxury purchases as they did a NEW Christmas haul. This time, with everything being authenticated! Talk about their parents going the extra mile…

Wow. Thoughts on this, Perezcious readers? Did they win in the end? Or are they just trying to paint over the fact they were being frauds? Let us know in the comments (below).
