He’s off the hook!
San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman will not be charged for the incident involving himself and then-girlfriend Tila Tequila last weekend.
Tila alleged that she had been “choked and restrained” by the football star on Sunday morning, according to the citizen’s arrest form.
District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis has released an official statement, claiming there’s not enough evidence to charge Merriman with a crime.
Says D.A. Dumanis: “Our office has determined there is insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any crime was committed. This case is now closed. No further comment will be made.”
Damn!
