We’re not sure who is more heartbroken over this: us or them!
Ireland Baldwin and her too cute boyfy Slater Trout have decided to call it quits on their relationship.
The duo got together sometime early last year, after flirting with each other over Twitter, and with their breakup ends our hope of finding true non-catfish Twitter love!
But the split is for a good reason, and we’re really proud of Ireland. In a statement, she said:
“I love Slater more than anything but right now, I’m focusing on school and work.”
Alec Baldwin’s daughter has been working super hard on her modeling career and is working on an independent study program as well, where she’s a senior.
A source revealed more about the break, explaining:
“Her life has gotten crazy in the past year or so. She is really trying to keep her momentum going as a model and she can’t do that and go to school and have a boyfriend. She’s young, she always had an idea that it wouldn’t last forever.”
We have to admit, we’ll miss seeing these two lovebirds flaunt their hand sandwiches all over Instagram, but it’s awesome that Ireland is so focused.
And Slater will probs be just fine out there riding the Hawaiian waves too!
