Iron Man 3 CRUSHES At Midnight Box Office!

After midnight, fans let it all hang out. And by it, we mean all the money in their pockets.
After a heroic press tour by Robert Downey, Jr., Iron Man 3 had a super-sized midnight premiere, taking in an estimated $15.6 million overnight.
The midnight numbers mark a franchise record, more than doubling Iron Man 2‘s numbers and dwarfing the original’s $1.5 mil.
This brings the film’s international box office earnings to $361 million, and the U.S. is just getting started!
The flick is expected to remain invincible through the weekend and hit somewhere around $150 MILLION!
