That’s what a Florida woman is saying.
Miriam Lee filed paternity and child support documents in Orange County, FL last year claiming that Brian McKnight is the father of her 14-year-old son.
Because Brian never responded to the claims, the judge ruled that Brian is the father and he’s been ordered to pay over $341,640 in child support back payments.
Brian’s rep however is questioning the validity of the allegations and court order, saying:
“The judgment in Florida was a default judgment made without Brian present. He’s still looking to establish paternity, and is awaiting the results of a recent test.”
Fourteen years is a long time to wait for child support! If Brian is the real father, we hope he does the right thing!
