Son Of Billionaire Fashion Mogul ARRESTED In Connection To Father's Shocking Death!

Son Of Billionaire Fashion Mogul Arrested In Connection To Father's Death!

Isak Andic, the billionaire founder of the fashion company Mango, passed away two years ago after falling from a cliff while on a hike with his son. Now the 45-year-old son has been arrested in connection with his death!

According to the local authorities, Jonathan Andic was detained on Tuesday for questioning in Barcelona as part of a possible homicide probe. A spokesperson for the family confirmed the news to Reuters but refused to share any details about the situation, other than to insist he is innocent and that he is cooperating with the authorities. In December 2024, Isak fell more than 320 feet in the Montserrat caves near Barcelona while hiking with Jonathan. CNN reported that the police initially called the 71-year-old fashion mogul’s sudden death an accident, and they closed the case in early 2025. But in March of that year, they reopened it. Local media then reported that Jonathan was being investigated as a suspect after he made several contradictory statements to the cops following the incident.

Jonathan is the only one who witnessed Isak’s death and explained to law enforcement that he had been walking ahead of his dad on the narrow trail of Les Feixades, a popular path for families in Spain. One officer even reportedly described the route as “not especially dangerous.” However, that day on the trail ended in tragedy. Jonathan claimed he heard stones falling and turned to see his father plunging off the edge of the path. How horrible!

Police sources told local outlets that the son’s version of events didn’t match the forensic evidence, though! OMG! There are no other details from law enforcement regarding that at this time. It’s unknown exactly why Jonathan would even allegedly kill his dad. However, The Times reported there was alleged tension between the pair over the management of Mango. Isak gave control of the business to Jonathan in 2014, but he took over the reins again a year later to restructure the company after some issues. That may have caused problems between them, but take this with a grain of salt because nothing has been confirmed or denied yet!

Jonathan has since appeared in court in Martorell following his arrest, where a judge set his bail for roughly $1.16 million. A High Court spokesman told CNN that it “has already been paid.” They added that the judge also ordered him to surrender his passport and to make weekly appearances in court.

Jonathan, along with his two sisters, took over Mango after the death of Isak, who was worth roughly $4.5 billion. Damn! He currently serves as the vice chairman of the company’s board. Whether he’ll remain in the position, we’ll see! Guess it depends on how the investigation goes, but the family seems confident Jonathan did nothing wrong!
