Fashion icon Isabella Blow, who killed herself by drinking weedkiller, will have pieces of her wardrobe put up for auction this September.
Included in the auction are 90 pieces designed by Alexander McQueen who Isabella is responsible for discovering, 50 hats by Philip Treacy who used Isabella as a muse and shoes by Manolo Blahnik.
Christie’s London director of fashion said of the collection:
“What we have is unique ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it shows that McQueen really deserves his place in fashion history and that Isabella was there before anyone else, she saw what was good so far ahead of the game.”
The sale takes place on September 15th in London.
