
As we mentioned earlier, estimates predicted that last night’s Super Bowl XLIV brought in some huge ratings.
And the estimates were right.
As of today, the Nielsen Co. has already estimated that over 106.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the Saints vs. the Colts.
This now officially marks Super Bowl XLIV as the most-watched television program in history, even beating out the 1983 M*A*S*H finale.
In comparison, last year’s Super Bowl brought in 98.7 million viewers.
And with the new numbers as high as they are, we can only imagine how much they’ll charge for those crazy commercials next year.
