It’s not the news doctors or Jade Goody‘s family expected to hear.
Doctors discovered during her 8-hour operation on Friday that the British reality star’s cervical cancer spread further than initially thought.
Sad.
Goody’s surgeons found that the cancer has reached ‘Stage Three’ (moved beyond the organ). There were cancer cells in a muscle behind her womb.
Her recovery odds are slightly above 50%.
To help her chances, she’ll need to do an intense 9-week chemo treatment.
