J. Cole is a married man! He just wasn’t planning on making that announcement quite yet!
But on Monday, the rapper sat down with Ryan Coogler during a live-streamed interview for Martin Luther King Day as a part of #MLKNow.

In the middle of their chat, the Creed director busted out the big news, asking the artist:
“How did getting married change you?”
The 30-year-old was clearly caught off-guard when the filmmaker let his secret slip! It turns out, though, that the 29-year-old wasn’t aware that was a major no-no, saying:
“I never interviewed someone before, my bad.”
Since he had no other option, the musician confirmed that he and his longtime love Melissa Heholt had, in fact, tied the knot!
