People often say that the the owner looks like their dog. In the case of Jackass star Steve-O, its less about looks and more about personality.
Being one of the main players in the Jackass television series and films, Steve-O is known for his outlandish stunts, crude humor, and lack of self respect. Don’t get us wrong, we love Steve-O, but when it comes to his dog, Walter, he gets a little mushy.
Steve-O explains his little Chihuahua-dachshund mix can be a handful , “He’s so cute and people try to pet him … and [then] he bites and destroys stuff and is a constant pain in the butt.” What a striking similarity!
Changing his old habits, Steve-O has been sober for nearly two years, changing his lifestyle completely, “In my personal life, I regret the way I treated people who loved me.” In the past six months, since owning Walter, Steve-O credits his “little angle” for teaching him “love and tolerance.”
It’s great to see the change in Steve-O and how an animal can guide someone in the right direction.
Maybe we’ll see a cameo of Walter in Jackass 3D!?
