Although Michael Jackson and Madonna were pop royalty in the early 90’s and seemed like they’d make the perfect couple, Jackson was so not into her!
According to taped conversations recorded by Jackson’s longtime friend, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, Jackson even believed Her Madgesty was in love with him!!
“I think she was sincerely in love with me and I was not in love with her,” Jackson is heard saying on the tapes. “She did a lot of crazy things. I knew we had nothing in common.”
But did the late King of Pop at least find Madge somewhat attractive?
Said MJ: “She is not sexy at all. I think sexy comes from the heart in the way you present yourself.”
Harsh!
Jackson also goes onto say that he believed Madonna was jealous of his fame because he received “the fainting and adulation” from fans, which Madge “never had.”
MJ tells Rabbi Shmuley on the tapes that Princess Diana and Elizabeth Taylor were more his type, but feared a relationship with Taylor would create a “circus” of a media frenzy because of their 27-year age gap.
