UPDATE 1:35 p.m. EST: While Jackson’s former team, the Lebanese Basketball team, reported that he died in a car accident, the L.A. County’s Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner is now reporting that he was found dead in his pool at his home. The coroner commented:
“He has not been examined yet but we can confirm that he was discovered at the bottom of a pool. There was no indication, however, that he hit his head anywhere. He did not have any chronic or acute medical condition that would be the reason why he was found at the bottom of the pool.”

Sad news.
On Monday, former NBA player Jackson Vroman was tragically killed in a car accident.
The Phoenix Suns took to Twitter to confirm the basketball player’s untimely death.
They shared:

Vroman was also a former member of the Lebanese Basketball team. The national team reported (below) of the loss on Monday.

Vroman got his start as a forward for Iowa State University from 2002 to 2004 — before he was selected in the second round of the 2004 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls and eventually played for the Suns and the New Orleans Hornets later in his career.
His alma mater stated that the ISU alum died from injuries sustained in the car crash.
The 6’10” player, who was close friends with Justin Bieber and Reggie Bush, even played internationally in South Korea, China, Spain, and the Philippines. What a legacy!
The famous running back took to Instagram to share his grief (below) with his many fans.

The Boyfriend singer has yet to comment on the loss of his friend but we can only imagine how heartbroken he is.
