What a scary situation.
On Wednesday, Jaime King‘s oldest son James Knight was struck by pieces of glass, after a man allegedly attacked the vehicle he was sitting in. It’s said that the Hart Of Dixie actress’ four-year-old and close confidant were in a parked car in Beverly Hills when the alleged culprit, identified as as Paul Francis Floyd, supposedly threw himself onto the vehicle.

Although Miz King was not inside the car at the time of the incident, she did witness the outburst go down. In fact, Taylor Swift‘s bestie was looking pretty shaken up when paparazzi arrived on the scene.
The Beverly Hills Police Department have since released the following on the attack:
“[James] was secured in a child car seat positioned in the back seat of the vehicle as the suspect jumped on the rear windshield causing glass to shatter and strike the child. In an effort to protect the child, the female driver exited the vehicle and confronted the suspect at which time he threw a can at her, striking her arm.”
Eek. In case you forgot, the blonde industry vet shares James Knight and toddler Leo Thames with husband Kyle Newman.
Per reports, witnesses saw Paul on a skateboard before he launched onto the hood of Jaime’s Mercedes-Benz and wreaked havoc.
And it sounds like King and co. were just casualties in Mr. Floyd’s bad Beverly Hills behavior, as the cops received SEVERAL calls about vehicle vandalism, including one that said someone was “kicking and jumping on” cars. Apparently, Floyd attacked another car that was at the end of a driveway. It’s believed that the 47-year-old suspect kicked and caused damage to a vehicle belonging to a male driver.
Unsurprisingly, Floyd has been arrested for felony child endangerment, misdemeanor battery, and two counts of felony vandalism. He’s currently being held on $100,000 bail. The alleged menace is slated to appear in court on April 6.
