James Franco Signs On To Oz: The Great And Powerful!

Excellent!
Although Robert Downey Jr. was originally in talks to appear in Sami Raimi‘s prequel to The Wizard of Oz, Oz: The Great and Powerful, it appears now that James Franco is on the verge of closing a deal with Disney to take on the title role in the flick!
The script, written by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire, will focus on the iconic character’s past as a circus wrangler who is transported to the fairy tale land by a tornado, where he’s mistaken for a powerful wizard!
Inneresting! We’re definitely curious to see how this comes out! Especially now that his seksi ass is involved!
Hopefully they won’t disappoint!
