You may have noticed when James Franco stepped out on Sunday night to host the Oscars that he was holding a cell phone. At the time, we thought he was going to use it at some point as part of joke, but alas we were disappointed and continued to be as such for the rest of the evening.
Turns out James was using his phone to forever capture moments behind-the-scenes of his Oscar experience. Here’s one of those videos (above) he just posted on his website.
Listen carefully to his conversation with Bruce Vilanch. The comedian is trying to give him a few pointers on hosting and after suggesting to ignore direction, James says to him:
“And what if the host does whatever he wants?”
Huh. You mean, like you, James!
Maybe that would’ve been okay…if you had done ANYTHING at all!!!
